a great idea… pre-made power module boards, simply plug in 12v and out comes a fixed stable voltage for your chips…
this example is the popular 5volts, also available in 3.3volt and others geared for new IC chips with lower Vcc requirements.
the board can clip to other compatible boards (see schmartboard.com), but many users simply embed these boards into their projects
